Food Assistance and Relief Goods to Sapie PS



EiE Team of Indanan South District submitted the list of IDPs to MDRRMC last Thursday, February 23, 2017. Alhamdlillah, response came to evidence in the next day, Friday, February 24, 2017. MPDC, MDRRMC Officer and DSWD Officer and staff led the way to Social Hall, Paligue, Indanan, Sulu. KABALIKAT Indanan was also with the team and some members of the PNP Indanan. The gathered all the IDPs in three centers in one place, the Social Hall, Paligue, Indanan, Sulu. They distributed food assistance and relief goods to IDPs based on the list submitted by DepED-Indanan South District EiE Team a day before. Based on the post made by KABALIKAT Indanan in Facebook Website, there were 85 families of IDPs enjoyed the assistance.

EiE Team Submit List of IDPs to MDRRMC

 
Faijal I. Andan, TIC of Sapie PS and Kindergarten Adviser listed 42 families in Langgal Puti'. His teacher, Nurjaina F. Yusop listed 41 families in Bakud and Social Hall, Paligue, Indanan, Sulu. AT lunch time, EiE Team left Social Hall. Their motorcycles led them directly to the ground of Indanan Municipal Hall, Pasil, Indanan, Sulu. Information personnel of the Municipal Hall guided them to the Office of Municipal Planning and Development Council headed by Engr. Sawradjan P. Allama.

Sapie PS Disrupts 4-Day Classes


Sapie Primary School has Kindergarten to Grade 2 classes. It has one teacher handling Kindergarten classes, the TIC, Faijal I. Andan and one class adviser of Grade 1 and 2 classes, Nurjaina F. Yusop. The total enrollment is 26 students. However, teachers and students abandoned Sapie Primary School from February 21-24, 2017 due to an encounter between AFP and Abu Sayyap Group happened in Lantung, Paligue, Indanan, Sulu last February 21 at around 9:20 AM as reported to PSDS Moore by the TIC. The happening was about a half kilometer away from Sapie Primary School. Heavy gunshots of both warring parties were loudly heard in the classrooms where learners were almost panic.

IDPs From Bakud and Social Hall, Paligue

 

From Langgal Puti', the EiE Team moved to Social Hall. It was the heart of Barangay Paligue where the Barangay Hall rises. The PTA President stayed in this hall for safety. Nurjaina F. Yusop, Grade 1 and 2 Adviser were already here before EiE Team reached this area. She and her TIC listed 41 IDPs in this hall. It included parents/IDPs housed in Bakud.

IDPs in Langgal Puti', Paligue


The EiE Team of Indanan South District listed 42 families or IDPs stayed in Langgal Puti', Paligue, Indanan, Sulu. Most of them came from the nearby area of Sapie Primary School. Vice President of the Campus PTA belonged to the group of IDPs gathered in Langgal Puti'. She recognized PSDS Moore and recalled her time in Pasil Elementary School under the Principal, Sir Moore. She was also one of the homeroom PTA officers those days.

Prescribed Menu for SMFP in Sapie PS

The TIC, teacher, students and parents of Sapie Primary School were so much grateful to the President of Asia America Initiative, Prof. Albert M. Santoli for approving Sapie PS as one of the recipient schools of School Mass Feeding Program. Likewise, we, from Sapie PS were also thankful to Sharifa Mharrojheanne A. Alih, AAI Coordinator for her support and assistance how we would be included in said program of Prof. Albert M. Santoli.

EiE Team to Sapie PS


In the afternoon of Wednesday, February 22, 2017, PSDS Moore formed the team of Education in Emergency to Sapie Primary School in Indanan South District Office. The team were composed of District DRRMC Coordinator, Faisal A. Kadil, ESHT 3 of Pasil Elementary School, Faijal I. Andan, TIC of Sapie Primary School, Alyasir A. Hussam, TIC of Poblacion ES, Marjin J. Madjirul, Caretaker of Cmdr. Bara Jalaidi PS and Panglima Misuari PS, Sherwin I. Nuron, Volunteer Teacher of Pasil ES and the PSDS. They left ISD Office the next day, Thursday, February 23, 2017 at about 9:45 AM.

Sapie Primary School Incident


Last Wednesday, Faijal I. Andan, TIC of Sapah Malawm PS and Sapie Primary School appeared in the Indanan South District Office, Km. 2, Kajatian, Indanan, Sulu. He personally reported to the Public Schools District Supervisor, Samoore S. Ladjahali about the disruption of classes in Sapie Primary School caused by an encounter between the negative group and AFP troop happened at Lantung, sitio of Barangay Paligue, Indanan, Sulu last Tuesday, February 21, 2017.

The TIC of Sapah Malawm Primary School and Sapie Primary School was so grateful to Prof. Albert M. Santoli, President of Asia America Initiative for including these two schools in the AAI Book Supplies in Indanan South District. Sir Faijal I. Andan, the School TIC considered this inclusion as a great blessing and opportunity for his school children in Sapie PS despite the size of the school, the distance from the main road and the volatile peace and order circumstances in the area of Barangay Paligue, Indanan, Sulu.

TIC of Sapie in ESIP Rollout





Sir Faijal I. Andan, TIC of Sapah Malawm PS and Sapie PS was in attendance at the Division Rollout on ESIP for school heads last January 21, 2017. The workshop focused on Enhanced School Improvement Plan conducted by BEAM-ARMM at Notre Dame Review Center, Kasulutan Village, Patikul, Sulu.

PSDS Moore Visits Sapie PS


Last August 17, 2016, Public Schools District Supervisor of Indanan South District, Samoore "Moore" S. Ladjahali visited Sapie Primary School after Cmdr. Bara Jalaidi Primary School headed by TIC, Nagdar U. Sasapan. He was escorted by Alyasir A. Hussam, TIC of Poblacion ES, Nagdar U. Sasapan, TIC of Cmdr. Bara Jalaidi PS and Panglima Misuari PS, Faijal I. Andan, TIC of Sapah Malawm PS and Sapie PS Naser L. Assil, District Property Custodian, and Marjin J. Madjirul, Teacher of Cmdr. Bara Jalaidi PS.
